Yesterday I burned about 2700 calories and I only ate 1350... I knew I was under (I went to the gym AND a 4 hour dance) but I didn't realize it was by that much! Should I just go back to normal today, or should  I make up those extra calories? Maybe make today a maintenance day? Does one day that far under make a difference?

how on earth did you do that?

i can only manage 400, 500 calories burnt at most in half an hour!
Hehe I meant when you add in my normal expenditure. I was dancing almost the whole time I was at the dance, so that was about 600 calories burned right there, plus I burned about 250 at the gym. Add that to my normal expenditure and that's 2700 burned in the day!
You dont have to make it up... the metabolism lags behind the way you live. So one day of overeating or super exercise wont affect it. If you can do something like that once a week, you would probably find things coming off faster too ><
Thanks!

If you arent hungry, no need to eat more!
good question lanicita! I've had the same thing happen a couple times and wondered if I was accidentally being unhealthy. I usually just let it go. No sense eating if you're full, right?
Its always a best practice to start each day as a new day.  And the same applies if you overeat on a day.  Don't starve yourself the next, you will screw up your metabolism more that way.
