As many members choose their level as sedentary and log activities, it would be useful to have each day's burn as it is recorded daily in "my home" but not accesible once that day passes. If you just add activities to your sedentary burn after the day has passed, you overestimate your burn because you don't take into account the calories you would have burned anyway during those exercise periods.

Even better would be an analysis tool showing eatmeter - burnmeter = calorie surplus or deficit over a selected period.
