The Bye-Bye-Boobs&Butt Problem
Does anyone have the problem of losing weight in areas you DON'T want to lose it? For example, I may be dropping a few pounds, but the only areas I notice it are in my boobs and my butt! How unforuntate is it that we can't control where we lose weight! What are we supposed to do? Is there any way to manage this? I've seen those commercials about diet pills for women to help maintain how they lose weight. Has anyone tried products like these? Or anyone know successful ways to lose weight where you want it?

Haha. Sorry but this made me giggle. I'm one of those weird girls that gets all excited when my boobs shrink..I mean, more than a handful IS a waste, right? Spot reduction is a total myth so don't buy into it! Your genes are your genes and unfortunately THEY get to determine where the fat comes & goes.
Unfortunately, that's where we store the majority of our fat. The only way to preserve the shape and over tonality of those areas is by working the muscles in that area. Start light bench pressing and doing squats and lunges and at least what you have will be nice & toned.
I've got the same thing going on. I'm also one of those women that is pleased that my breasts are getting smaller. It's just one of the things I'm looking forward to about getting fit. Since Jan. I've gone from a very full 44D to a 40C and I'm happy about that. My bottom is slowly disappearing as well BUT I DON"T want to end up with a flat bottom. If only my stomach would shrink as fast as the rest of me is.
Just as iknowmychicken stated above, we can't pick the areas that our bodies lose weight at. However, we can change the way our bodies look by lifting weights. I wish you peace.
There is no such thing as spot reducing, sadly.
One thing you CAN do, is improve the muscle tone and strength underneath those areas. Work on your pecs and your breasts will look larger. Make your butt stronger and it won't droop or look at flat :)

I've lost about an inch in my bust, but have also gained the most kickass cleavage ever! I am totally happy with the loss in my chest....
now if i could just get the bottom half of my body to catch up with the top....
I have lost a bit of boobs, but honestly, I don't care. I'm 5'1, and with 38DD, I just looked weird. I would love to be back to a 36D or something. My butt isn't that big, but it needs toning.
i actually quite like having small boobs! as long as they have a nice shape i think they are really cute. plus, having small boobs means you can wear smaller tops and i think it just makes you look skinnier when you have smaller boobs.
in terms of my butt, i would LOVE to lose all my weight there!! i hate being so disproportionate. in fact, my butt and my upper arms are the 2 body parts i loathe. people with small butts get to wear smaller pants sizes which is great. i will never in 1000000 years be a size 4 because my butt is here to stay!
I don't mind if I lose a little more of my boobs--they are too big.
But, I've noticed my butt is getting really flat--ugh! I'd much rather leave my butt alone and lose more from my stomach area!!
Years later got an Elliptical decided that I wanted to lose a little bit more weight.... and now my breast are about the size they were when I was 11 (I have a small C now.)
But given the choice, I like them now than before when the only bras that I could find to fit were special order, gave me back problems, and the bras hurt the top of my shoulders from all the weight they carried!
I lose it everywhere in the upper part of my body, and then I have to work like hell to get some off my hips... Largest muscles are in my legs, so I just work on toning those areas. To got some of my boobs back I had to start doing bench presses, and a pilates move called hug the tress with my total gym, and doing chest squeezes with my pilates ring.. That's how I was able to get some of my boobs back.. You can't spot lose, but you can spot train. I had to train even harder to get rid of the bye bye arms.. So don't buy into those pills that say you can spot lose, there is no way you can do that.. They can say they made it.. BUT it's not real.. It's only a money maker for them, and a trick or treat for us.. The treat is.. We get nothing but the trick, and the trick is getting us to give them our money for a product that is not FDA approved.
CLA(conjugated lineolic acid) really helps in the reduction of fat cells, especially in the abdomen, of course accompanied with a good diet and exercise. I literally have no boobs any more :( I'm going to try and work my abdomen, and lift weights, whilst eating more.. Then hopefully the gain will go to my boobs and not just my stomach!
personally, my boobies and booty shrink as i lose weight, but it's just fine because both are big--so as the rest of me gets smaller, they can too...but still be a nice hourglass shape.
but to keep that booty bigger or firmed--STAIR MASTER / STEPPING MACHINE!!! i used to use the stair master a few years back, that was my thing for cardio. i stopped because it was making my booty even bigger! it's not exactly what i wanted, tho--i think if in this weight loss process now, if i needed to add shape, i'd get on the stair master at least once a week. no flat butt for me, please!
