C to 5 K

Hiya, am very new to running. Love many different sports but, as I am heavy have always found running tuff. I do enjoy the high I get from trying though! I have recently started the couch to 5 K. (I do a body pump class, a combat class once a week and play tennis 3 times a week) With the occasional gym visit and slow swim!

I have 1 more session on my second week of C to 5K. Am using the podcasts and find it very motivating and helpful. My question is as I am just about managing on my 2nd week, I dont know how I will ever manage 3 min runs next week. Do I just push on and try, or do I repeat week 2? I have (just) managed my week 2 sessions. I just dont want to fail, if you know what I mean.... Thanks for your help.

Its been a while since you posted, I hope you are still running.  I just started a C25k at the being of this month (Novemember).  I didn't see how I was going to do the 3 min runs, but I was able to, and now I am looking at 5 min runs and thinking that all over again.  I will keep at it though.  My plan is to repart the week if I need to so that I am able to do the 5 mins.  How are you doing with your running?
