I have red and green cabbage up to my eyeballs.  Can I throw this on the grill? And I don't mean put it in foil and just steam the sucker to death.  Has anyone tried to spray slices with pam and grill cabbage before?

Well, I have done it with radicchio, so I don't see why it wouldn't work with cabbage!  I'm sure it would be a nice accompaniment to some lean turkey sausage... yum.

That actually sounds really good. Grilled veggies are awesome. Let us know how it turns out :)

I haven't grilled it, but I have roasted it (film of olive oil, hot oven) so I think it would be good if you can keep it from falling through the grates of the grill.

I also love to shred it into vegetable soups, then freeze portions to grab for lunch or healthy snacks.

Do you like sauerkraut?  That can be a fun way to preserve cabbage for the winter.  Homemade is much, much better than canned.

I usually wrap a wedge or one fourth of the head in foil and place on indirect heat for 45 min, then sprinkle with a lil salt and eat.
