| 1 | lb stewing steak |
| 8 | cups beef broth |
| 4 | cups green cabbage, chopped |
| 2 | cups red cabbage, chopped |
| 1 | medium onion, diced |
| 1 | cup celery, sliced |
| 2 | green bell peppers, chopped |
| 28 | oz canned tomatoes, diced |
| 1 | salt, pepper, garlic, other seasonings to taste |
- Brown stew meat, then simmer in broth with seasonings until tender.
- Add chopped vegetables and simmer until tender.
