Cabbage Soup Recipe

This is the recipe from the Cabbage Soup Diet. Good soup very low calories!

Ingredients
4 green onions
1 green peppers
1 tomatoes
5 stalks of celery
1/2 head cabbage
3 c tomato juice
2 c bean sprouts
3 c water
Directions
  1. In pan saute' green onions with cooking spray until fragrant. Cut all vegetables into bite size pieces. Place all vegetables, bouillon cubes, water and tomato juice in pan. Add whatever kinds of seasoning you like, salt,pepper,garlic,basil,parsley, etc. You can add any kind of seasoning: cilantro and cyanne for a Mexican taste or basil and garlic for an Italian taste. Have fun with it.

  2. Simmer on a low-medium heat for 2 hrs or until all vegies are soft. If you want to puree' the soup that is also good or you can serve cold. ENJOY!
