Caciocavallo cheese
anyone know of it??? im trying to get the calories of it but im having trouble finding them online!
It's usually pretty hard to find calories for artisan cheeses. If you have a relatively young cheese (one that is still relatively soft, like the texture of havarti), I'd use the calorie count for havarti or provolone. If it's been aged longer and is a hard, grating cheese, then I'd use the figures for romano or something similar. I usually just use the listings for a cheese with a similar moisture content, and figure that's about as close as I'll get.

OMG best cheese ever haha. It is a Sicilian Table Cheese made from cows milk. It has a mild salty flavor, very unique. My dad was making an old family pizza bread type thing and it took him forever to figure out what type of cheese to use! Hard to find near us, we had to go to this little italian deli by my house. Very unique flavor, very good and worth trying!
You can usually assume for most cheeses that it is approx 100 cal per oz. I looked up your cheese-- and it says maybe close to provolone. So I would go with that.

lol I know what you mean. 1 oz of any cheese is sooo small...
I just got these dark chocolate covered blueberries and they are way too good, I never eat candy, but these things are amazing. Fortunately the serving size is 180cals per/ 20 of them, so you can enjoy them in a somewhat higher than normal moderation...
