What would you put on a 10,000 cal sandwich?

Quote  |  Reply
Really random, I know. But I remember reading about this guy who made one just on a whim to see if he could. It was gross. It was like pb, pickles, 10 pork chops, and other weird stuff... deep fried.

-barf-

But after closing my eyes and doing some deep breathing, I got to think what would I put on a 10,000 cal sandwich. I think my Idea is much tastier. (PS by no means would I eat this for free like that guy did.)

-A loaf of bananna bread (2500)

- 1 18 oz jar of Skippy reduced fat chunky pb (2500) (I think it taste like the stuff in reese's peanut butter cup. The added sugar makes it even more crunchy :-P)

- 1 jar nutella (4000)

- 6 oz white chocolate chips mixed in (1000)

Total: 10,000 cal

550 g fat, 768 g sugar, 110 g protein

So, what would you put? It's like the imaginary Cold Stone Creamery of sandwichs.

PSS: You don't have to eat it. It's just a topic I though of while trying not to do homework.

Are you old enough to be doing food porn????

I can't wrap my head around anything 10,000 calories this early in the morning -- but, hey--you go right aheadLaughing

Right now the only thing I can think of is pizza, so, mine would be layers and layers and layers of beautiful pizza!
Pepperoni, salami, tomato sauce, olives, and mozzerella cheese. I think about three oz of each should do it :)
I'm sorry; I couldn't even think of anything, as the sheer idea of eating 10,000 calories is sickening to me. XP
How about a cake sandwich?

The top half would be a layer of red velvet cake (my favorite)

Then a layer of thick, fatty cream cheese icing with walnuts mixed in.

Then, like a Big Mac, there would be another layer in the middle, of hummingbird cake, which is my other favorite cake.

Then a layer of chocolate icing.

Then, on the bottom, a layer of birthday cake.  The top of the sandwich would also be covered in icing.  Praline icing.  Yum...

Remember Breakfast Club?  I would put pixie sticks, cap'n crunch (with crunchberries) and two really thick pieces of white sourdough bread.  mmmmmmmm.

Certainly not 10,000 calories....but...high enough up there! :)

That's a lot of pizza slices to get to 10,000. Just imagined the slices piling up instead of full pizza.

Lets see, a 10,000 calorie sandwich. I'm going to move away from the sweet part, so this will be one tall sandwich.

A submarine bun, 110 calories.

Now in it I'll put Slices of swiss cheese. 80 calories

4 slices of of deli sliced turkey breast 80 calories

4 bacon strips 220 calories

a cup of shredded ice berg lettuce 6 calories

3 slices of tomatoes 12 calories

serving of pickled hot pepper rings 5 calories

5 slices of pickles 5 calories

4 onion rings 149 calories

serving of sliced green olives 15 calories

2 tbsp of light mayonnaise 90 calories

A serving of fat free honey mustard (I like the taste better) 30 calories

43g Fried chicken trips 127 calories

and on top of the bun, melted 1.25 slices of deli mozzarella cheese 76 calories

All comes to a total of 10,000 calories. I don't think my jaw is wide enough to bite into that.

well...if you put about 10 or so slices of sbarros pizza on a sandwhich, thats 10,000 calories right there....

but i cant imagine eating a pizza sandwhich....

and im probably the only one here who would actually eat this 10,000 calorie sandwhich.....
Ooooh...

2x 2" thick 8"x8" chewy brownies with chunks of pecans and truffles for the bread
Slathered with 1.5 cups nuttella
Filled with 1kg of mocha peanut butter cheesecake, 2 bananas, 2 cups whipped cream, 2 cups chocolate peanut butter fudge & fudge sauce
Then, finally, encased entirely in 1/2" milk chocolate

Mmmm... I think that's more than 10, 000 calories.

Brownies- 16"x16"= 7, 776 calories
Nuttela- 2, 400 calories
Cheesecake- 3, 384 calories
Bananas- 225 calories
Whipped cream- 308 calories
Fudge- 3, 584
Fudge sauce- 1, 064 calories
Chocolate- 4, 495

Erm... yeah. More like 23, 236. Well... portion control. Cut that sucker in half!

Hmm...mine would probably look a lot like my favorite burger (disclaimer: the faint of heart should avert your eyes, this burger is scandalously high-calorie as-is), served at my favorite bar:

  • Huge, juicy burger cooked to a perfect medium (I think it's 1/2 lb before cooking?)
  • slice of sharp cheddar
  • tons of crispy bacon
  • fried egg with deliciously runny yolk, salted and peppered
  • homemade roasted garlic mayonnaise
  • served on a big, soft pretzel roll
Then, if I had any calories left out of that 10,000 (doubtful, right?) I'd add some crispy frizzled onion rings.  And of course, get some of their fresh-cut fries and dip them in more of the garlic mayo.  The sad thing is, except for the frizzled onions (which are on the menu, but I've never added them), this really is my favorite burger, and I've had it quite a few times.  Every time I eat it, I remind my husband to check on me throughout the night to make sure I haven't died of a heart attack.  But really, what a way to go...  :)

I'd rather have two 5000calorie sandwiches. One savory, one sweet! :)

I know this is nowhere near 10,000, but I would put two veggie patties between two thick slices of Hawaiian bread, then add tomatoes, onions, lettuce, Thousand Island dressing, and swiss cheese. Then I would toast the whole thing. OM NOM NOM!

Chicken Salad made w/grapes, apples, celery, and fat free miracle whip all stuff into a sub styled crossiant...and then put sunchips inside it for extra crunchiness. =P Drool

Kitsuneyami, you'd have to eat 10 of those to play the game!  ;)

Come on, you guys, you are so TAME!  Is this the extent of your fantasies?  How 'bout this:

Huge loaf of garlic bread slathered in butter

An entire boneless ribeye steak cooked medium rare

TONS of cheese

Another ribeye steak

Another loaf of garlic bread on the bottom.

Now that's a sandwich!
a butter-sugar sandwich on cake.

ha ha ha ha.

Homer simpson like droooool.
uve_been_oatmealed, that actually sounds really good. But can you imagine how much celery you'd have to use though?

Thats the point, make my sandwich all the bigger and better, and more satisfying.

hehe this thread is cracking me up.. the only problem with eating 10k cal sandwich is that i wouldnt be able to eat for the next WEEK.
Yeah, after eating a 10k sandwich, you would immediately gain almost 3 lbs of pure fat... not water weight, not nothin'.  Pure fat.  lol
