which is your favorite csi; las vegas (the original), miami, or new york?

Vegas.  I'm actually anxious to see the new character they have in mind when grissom leaves.

I HATE Miami.

I like NY, but don't watch it religiously.

I am totally a vegas fan.  I think Miami got cheesy with the character stories.  I am also on the edge of my seat to see who will replace the Grissom character and how it will all work out.  I will miss all the bug clues.

Rumor has it that the replacement character for grissom is supposed to have the same profile as a serial killer.  And that he's working against becoming one.

It will be really interesting if they can get a good enough actor for the part.

Like Vegas and NY.  Hate Miami.  Mainly because of David Caurso (however you spell his name).  I did not like him in NYPD Blue and distest him in Miami.  Who really wants to watch a cocky, arrogant cop anyway.

I watch them all but I have a hard time getting through CSI Miami without laughing out loud at Horatio's character sometimes.. if the series was in Spanish - he would be the perfect telenovela actor!

*stands up from chair, spreads legs apart, pops chest out, puts hands on hips, adjusts sunglasses, turns head to the right.. and walks off*

CSI Miami is a joke...but NY is much better with hotter guys.. :)

The guy on Miami reminds me too much of Captain Kirk with his stupid dramatic pauses and whispery voice.  The character is a charicature, if you will.  I prefer Vegas, although I'm a huge Gary Senise fan!!!

vegas, def.  although with no grissom and no sara sidle, i'm not so sure.

if they'd kill horatio, i'd go over to miami, but i can't stand caruso.

NY - can't put my finger on it, but it doesn't work.  great cast, good stories, proven formula, but...something's wrong with it.

the reason i enjoy csi: miami is BECAUSE of the comedic value. what ridiculous thing will "h" say next? i think people who don't like it should try viewing an episode as a sitcom. then try going about everyday life while saying and/or thinking "h" thoughts. of course you'll laugh, and then you might become a convert! :)

I agree pg. I can't put my finger on it either, but something about it, I just can't get into. I love Gary Sinease.... just can't get into him on this show.

I also agree with you samesofam. When I do watch Miami, I'm not taking it seriously at all. H is a frikkin ridiculous cheese ball... I crack up every time with his one liners in the beginning of each show..... he just ooozes arrogance!
