Caloric Intake changing??

Quote  |  Reply
When I first started (March 6 2006) my recommended caloric intake was 1250. Since then it has steadily increased...first 1650 and now 2150. I don't get it....

Has anyone else experienced this? It may have to do with the weight loss I have had in the past week...but that's water weight.

I have experienced this too. I think as you get closer to your deadline weight day your calorie intake increases because your metabolism is increasing. I dont know exactly why, but thats what I think.
I have noticed this too but I have been keeping to my 1250 a day.  Some days I will go up to 1350- 1400 and drop back to 1250 just to keep my metabolism saying "what is she up to! "  LOL

* ERIK, can you give us a good explanation?
can someone tell me how many calories in having this so far for today is or come close to it would be?

1 - package of oatmeal w/ 1 cup fat free milk

2 - One corn bread muffin

2- 1 1/2 cup of chicken wild rice soup, and a apple
Hey you should start your food log...it's in the tool bar under your account...sounds like you are doing pretty good...you might want to click analysis...sounds like you are maybe going to heavy on carbs and not enough veggies...you also need some fat in your diet...should be 30% fat, 40% protein, 40% carbs...hope this helps...fill out your profile so we can add you to our friends list.

thanks for the great advice...In your opinion, how many calories do you thyink i had so far?
oooo I don't know...oatmeal is about 100-150....a corn muffin can be about 100-150 depending on size...chicken and rice soup...maybe 150-200 cals...and an apple is like 50 I think...really should run it through the food log though...
The food log is great. I thought I was doing really good but after entering everything intot he log, it really helps you see where you can do better.
30+40+40=110% ;)

isn't it 30(fat) 30(protein) 40(carbs)?
sorry I'm math challenged...lol!!!! DUH!
