Hey! I am leaving starvation mode, and am trying to find a way to maintain my weight. I weight about 113 pounds. I want to maintain that, I have been leaving starvation mode for a couple of days now. But i would really like to know hwat my caloric intake should be... I am 16 years old, and am about 5'2. I am pretty and active I go to the gym 4 to 5 times a week! And do cardio and weights! What amount of calories should I take in each day? Please! Feel free to ask any questions!?

You could go to Calorie Count's Tools Tab at the top of the screen. You could also do a Google/Bing/Yahoo search for finding recommended BRI, BMR, Calorie needs, etc. calculators. To find out how many calories you need a day, you need to plug in how active you are, what exercises you do for how long, how healthy you eat, etc. There is a lot of advice on this site if you take the time to negoitate through the many paths of information. At 113 and only 16, there is no healthy reason for you to be in starvation mode. After you pursue different aspects of this site, then type into your Search Engines things like "how many calories should a 16 year old take"; "how much should a teenage girl weigh"; "what is a healthy weight for a 16 year old girl"; "calculalors for basal metabolism rate"; etc. There are a ton of sites on the Net to find out all these important things. I am guessing that you need to eat a really healthy breakfast and make sure you haven't gotten your metabolism into some sort of shut down mode. That is not healthy and will do you no good.

You'll see from this chart that the healthy weight for a girl your age and height is anything up to 134lbs... and that, by being moderately to very active, you need between 2270 and 2760 cals a day to maintain your weight and be well-nourished enough to grow and develop/
You do not need to lose weight...
I right now eat 1, 750, is that too little? I dont want to up my calorie sand gain weight?
On the go andin the know.
