2200 calorie breakfast...
This may be a stupid question, but if you were to eat this many calories for breakfast would it be wise to not eat anything until the next day?
Don't worry about it. You won't gain horrendously in one day. Don't try to punish yourself for overeating once. We all have oops days. Forgive yourself, eat healthily the rest of the day and start over tomorrow morning. ![]()

If you truly weren't hungry, then yeah, but if you did get hungry, it would probably be best just to eat realatively light and start over tomorrow. C:
If your hungry, you shouldnt restrict yourself. One day of eating too much wont make a big difference in the long run. But if your not hungry, you probably wouldnt have to eat. You could also add some exercise to your day to give you more room for extra calories.
And Im curious. Can I ask what you ate at breakfast that totalled 2200 calories?
I've learned through long experience that restricting after overindulging only leads to hunger and more overeating.
The best thing to do is get back on your sensible meal plan at the next meal. You ate too much at breakfast, it's done, you can't undo it. So put it behind you and continue as if nothing happened.

Well, it was and all you can eat Thanksgiving brunch buffet...I LOVE BUFFETS! I had eggs and hash browns and pancakes as well as french toast covered in butter and syrup. I also ate 4 slices of banana bread and a big plate of fruit. Wash it all down with an extra large coffee and a piece of gum. It was awesome. So, since it was yesterday the final result of my day ended up being this: I was not hungry at all for the rest of the day, but I managed to eat a honey wheat english muffin with sugar free jelly and a sugar free pudding at 6:00. Overall, even though I tremendously overate at breakfast....I felt pretty good and I did not beat myself up over it. :-) Good thing we only have those once a year though! HAHAHA
I applaud you, that sounds like the greatest breakfast ever! I would actually like to eat all my calories at breakfast because breakfast foods are the best foods. That is why we have all-day breakfast but not all-day lunch or dinner, because those meals suck. From the morning onwards everything goes downhill.
Now I want pancakes. Someone fetch me pancakes!!
