calorie coach thumbs down symbol thingie

Can anyone tell me how this calorie coach symbol thingie works?  No matter what date I put in as my final goal, it gives me a thumbs down symbol, and I have lost 25 lbs, so, I thought I was doing pretty well.  Don't quite understand why I get a thumbs down symbol all the time.  Can anyone help me with this?
