2moro will be exactly 1 year since I started using the website and calorie counting in an attempt to lose weight.

Im just reaching the 2stone mark, after 1 year. Is that quite a little for this time frame? Is that reasonable, or could I have lost alot more?

all opinions welcome & personal stories

That is great that you have lost that much weight.  They say that one to two pounds is a healthy amount.  While your average is less than the one to two pounds, it is still great that you have lost that much.  Do not look at the past as a judge of what you can do here and now.  Keep working hard.  The amount you have lost is great.  That is 2 stone less than you were before.  That is a lot less work your heart has to do to circulate your blood through your body.

You should be proud of your accomplishment and look forward to losing the rest of the weight to your goal.
About how many pounds is a stone? sorry, stupid american here. :P
Congratulations on your year of dedication! I think the fact that your healthy lifestyle has withstood so much time speaks volumes, regardless of how much weight you lost.
Laura,

I think it's like 12 or 14 pounds
You go girl!

2 stone is a lot (28 pounds y'all)
And losing it slow and steady should make it more likely to stay off

ur not stupid laura! 14 lbs in a stone - i normally use stones but since joining cc i starting looking at lbs since most people here do aswell... 2 stones is an amazing achievement joanna - id definately wait a year for to see that change...well done - thats my motivation/inspiration for the day!
