my calorie count to lose weight just dropped 100 cals... yikes
Wow! 1550 calories would be hard for me. I eat 2250 and find it difficult to stay under that.
I would guess low fat, lean proteins like chicken, egg whites or fish. I know an egg-white omlette with veggies and fat-free cheese fills me up and can be under 150 - 175 calories.
I know I found that cutting carbs helps me too. I'm not saying eliminate them, just watch how much you have. I know that a trainer has recommended I cut down to 100 - 150 carbs per day to help lose weight and it is hard. Almost everything except pure proteins have them.
Good luck!
I went from 1400 to 1300 this month :(
It gets easier as time goes by, at least it did for me. What helps is I have an active job, so I can eat more those days, but I've been able to keep pretty close to my limit on my off days too.

you know what tastes like a treat for me but is REALLY good?
prunes. i swear by them! i alway end up finishing the 6oz. bag when i buy em!
be sure to get your milk!
but if i were you, i just do some more excercises to have those extra 100 cals! :)
I eat 1300-1400 a day, and I feel satusfied. Just make sure you get in at least 400 calories worth of really low cal stuff thats nice and filling (Veggies are great!!), some fibre (also very filling) and protein. It will keep you full and content to eat less.
If you have snacks daily, try replacing them with sugar free jello. A nice sweet treat and only 10 calories for one of the pre-packaged cups. A nice treat and just a FEW calories.
How often should you eat during the day?
It is neither necessary to eat every two hours nor to stop eating at 6:00 PM. As long as your calorie intake is less than your output... Read more
