Should I be calorie counting by uncooked or cooked weight?

I've been weighing pretty much everything that I have been eating since joining CC. I weigh everything before I cook it, make a note and then update CC towards the end of the day.

I've just cooked skinless chicken breast, it was 192g uncooked and 136g once cooked - This is approx 30% reduction. Whenever I've cooked this before, I've always based it on the uncooked weight. I do the same with all vegetables, jacket potatos and pasta etc.

I'm aiming for a daily goal of 1,380 cal and don't want to go too far under this, but I am now thinking that maybe I am over calculating the amount of calories in the foods I'm eating by measuring them before cooking? I've either stayed the same or lost 1lb a week so far, so does it really matter?

Thanks!

According to Ask Leigh (http://www.flzine.com/ask-leigh-weigh-before- or-after-cooking/)

If you are trying to be as accurate as possible you want to weigh anything before you cook it. Water and some fat can be lost, and overall the change can be small, but for best case scenario before is a good way to go. Pasta weight, veggies, etc it is all the same.

Thank you :)

i found my answer here.. tks
