Just wondering if anyone zig-zags their calorie deficit instead of zig-zagging their daily calorie intake. Do they even work the same way? I realize that most of us are not consistent in our daily deficits anyway but mine tend to be similar each day. And my calorie intake is also pretty similar since I tend to eat the same stuff. If I were to zig-zag my deficit, I would still consume what I consume now but maybe exercise more or less on alternate days.... So, I wouldn't be zig-zagging my intake at all (I'm comfortable with my daily menu), but just the burn part.

It's more or less the same thing, eating more or exercising less. As long as you make sure you're getting a wide variety of different foods rather than eating the same things over and over again, you should be fine.
