How much calorie did I EAT?

Quote  |  Reply

I tried to eat within 1500 calories per day based on the nutrition  lable of  the food, if there is any. I also exercised 50min per day.  However, I have gained 2 lbs after a week.

Here is my typical  daily consumption, did I eat more calories than I thought?

Breakfast:  Orange juice from concentrate  300 ml

2 Coffee with 2% milk and single cream

Lunch : curry chicken with rice , regular size

Dinner : 1 medium salad + 2 chicken wings

Snake: 2 banana +1 apple

fruit and nut snake bar  150g

iamthingal - why don't you just enter those things into your food log and total it up?

We don't know what "regular size of curry chicken with rice" means, nor do we know what was in a "medium salad" - lettuce with a teaspoon of oil+vinegar, or half a pound of buffalo chicken with a gallon of ranch dressing on a leaf of lettuce.

Oh, and oj and coffee is not breakfast.

Maybe its the snakes, they are pretty high in calories..  Just kidding couldn't resist... sorry

I agree with amethystgirl, enter it all in the food log and your workouts too, then you can find out if you are going overboard.  also if you are working out, you are building muscle that weighs more than fat so you can gain weight with out gaining fat... How do your clothes fit?

yeah i agree with amethystgirl...why are you on this site if you are just going to ask people to do it for you?

also im sorry but i must ask...did you really need the cream AND 2% milk in your coffee?

chill out ppl

maybe she doesnt know how to do it...and i need cream and milk on my coffee, cant drink it any other way

anywayz be nice....jeezz

it seems like i eat a lot more than that sounds like in one day and i barely make it to 1500 if im lucky :(

rice has a lot of calories tho haha

and suz is right snakes are just loaded with calories :p

it was really hard for me to enter my calories at first cuz a lot of its like in ounces and stuff and i wasn't good at finding things but now im a lot better. and im better at guessing the amount when i buy food and i also measure everything i prepare. sometimes i cant find something specific and i don think its that big of a deal to just find somethin similar w/ similar calories..

n yeah way to bite her head off haha. but ya you should just look up the calories each day for yourself.

i dont know exact reasons for weight gain but i do know sometimes our bodies react to changes in unpredictable ways. i think if you log your calories and keep it under 1500.. or whatever a healthy calorie intake for you is, and keep exercising you will get results eventually. some of this whole weight loss thing has to do with getting to know your body and what works for you specifically. there is something of an art to it i think. its not all numbers.

and uhh anyone reading this realize its midnight here haha! dont judge me.
