137 Calorie Filling Creamy Soup Recipe YAY!

Quote  |  Reply

Just made a big batch of this soup for lunch and I think I'm in love.  According to CC, the giant bowl of it I ate just now was just 137 calories.  It was creamy (or creamy-ish), filling, and really really yummy. It's made with oatmeal and then blended before more veggies are added, so it's really thick and hearty.

I added about 8-10 cloves of garlic instead of only 2, subbed herbes de provence for the dill (I don't like dill much).  I also added about 3-4 cups of chopped up cabbage to the broccoli that you add in at the end.  So the thick base is mostly broccoli, but the chunky veggies are mostly cabbage.  I think you could add anything.  Lean ham, chopped potatoes, beans, carrots... whatever.  I always add extra seasoning and spice to make it un-bland.

Just loved this dairy-free, ultra low calorie and super filling soup so I thought I'd share!
