20 Calorie frappicino!!!!!! XD
WOWOWOW this is amazing!! So delicious, and super low calorie, when i tasted it i thought it was too good to be true! I was feeling adventurous this morning so i decided to try something new. (this recipe is only for people who dont care about having a ton of artifical crap like me haha) The ingredients were....
1 1/2c coffee- 0 cals
1/4c almond breeze- 10 cals
2 packs spenda- 0 cals
pinch of cinnamon- 0 cals
pinch of vanilla extract - 0 cals??
like 2 spoonfulls walden farms chocolate sauce - <5cals
like 1 spoonfull walden farms caramel sauce (optional)- <5cals
about 1 1/2c ice cubes- 0 cals
squirt of light rediwhip- 5 cals
TOTAL: is roughly 20-25 calories give or take a few
1. Mix almond breeze, coffee, and splenda and let it chill in the fridge (or freezer to make it faster)
2. Put it in the blender, and add vanila, cinnamon, chocolate sauce, and ice cubes and blend until smooth.
3. Take it out and put a squirt of 5cal whip cream on it, (i put a little chocolate sauce over the whip cream,) and a little cinnamon on top and ENJOY!
I was so amazed it tasted like the real thing to me, and i let my mom try a little sip and she made me make her one it was so good haha. wow im drinking it right now, i think im in love :].
I cant wait to make another one tonight, i think i might add some peppermint extract and more caramel to make it a bit more christmasy! Or i might make just a vanilla and caramel one, or caramel and chocolate, or vanilla and cinnamon, GOSH THE POSSIBILITIES ARE ENDLESS XD. Haha, sorry kind of got carried away there but im just so excited about my new recipe, i love experimenting!
(sorry about all the spelling mistakes, im only 14 ;] )
Crap, i just looked it up and vanilla extract has like 10 or so calories per tbsp. I guess im going to be cutting that out of my recipe now.. no caramel vanilla for me:[
Looks nice.
The calories in the vanilla extract appear to be from alcohol. You should be able to cut the calories by heating it an causing the alcohol to evaporate. Don't know if that would have an affect on the flavor...
I make a similar thing every morning except I just use the almond breeze, coffee, a packet of splenda, and sugar free syrup (which has 0 calories - use that instead of the vanilla extract). It is very, very tasty.

Why would you cut it out? Even if you used a whole tablespoon, which I assume you don't, it would only be 30 calories rather than 20 calories. I would guess though that you only use a few drops, and that's all you need. Maybe a teaspoon; less than five calories.
you could also use vanilla flavored splenda (they have a carmel one i think they have a vanilla one too..) its by the coffee
If it's only "like" 2 spoonfuls and "like" 1 spoonful, what is it actually?
i'm not condoning this however you could just buy some sugar free caramel/vanilla/cinnamon dulce/hazlenut syrup from starbucks and use that...
I wold love to try this but what is almond breeze and where do I get it from???
^^ Ditto, what is this almond breeze I keep hearing about, google hear I come.
It's almond milk! Unsweetened Almond Breeze has 40 calories/cup. Crazy, huh! My local groceries carry it, but you can buy it online for sure.
OP, I don't know why you spoil this "recipe" with Walden Farms products. I make mine with instant decaf, cocoa powder, davinci's & ice. It's delicious & doesn't smell like a portapotty XD
Is jump roping as good an exercise as running?
In terms of calorie burning, moderate jumping is about equal to running a 10-minute mile, although calorie burning is always a function of time... Read more
