Calorie Intake Question (Another)

Quote  |  Reply

I am 5'6, 50 yr old female, wt is 216.  I eat mostly healthy fruits, vegies, grains, protein, etc. and exercise 4 times a week (2 days weights/2 days cardio - 30 min. each).  I eat approx. 1600 calories daily.

I recently lost my job which was a desk job sitting all day.  I now am at home moving alot of the day.

According to Phord calculator, I should be eating approx. 1620 cal daily.  My question is should I stay at 1600 daily?  I question this because I have only lost a pound in almost two months and I'm wondering if the fact that I am moving a good part of the day as opposed to sitting is affecting my weight loss.  I should mention I have lost 4 inches in the last month and know I may be losing inches right now as opposed to weight.

Any thoughts?  Thanks.

If you're losing anything (inches or weight) stick at it. The only things I would consider are adding in another cardio session or working on lengthening the ones you do to an hour
