calorie recomendation
So the calorie count advice says that I should consume about 1800 calories a day, this seems obscenely high for me. But tell me what you think, because I don't want to sabatage myself.
Here are my stats-
5'6 3/4"
196.6
female/ 29
I work out 5 days a week, about 1 hour of cardio, and then moderate weight training each day also.
Thank you for any advice in advance,
In all honesty this doesn't seem too high to me. I am 5'2, 154lbs, female/27 years old. I work out 5 days a week as well, for about 30 minutes (mainly focused on muscle toning). My suggested calorie intake is 1500 calories. According to faq section, it states that we should stay between 500-1000 calories less then what we are burning in order to lose weight. For me I am burning on average 2300 calories a day (and since you seem to be more active then me I would assume that you are burning more) so I look at taking in between 1300-1800 calories (usually I average 1700). If you haven't calorie counted before, I think that you will be surprised at how quickly they can add up. I would suggest using the 500-1000 calories less rule as the calories that you burn day to day will vary depending what you are doing.
Thank you for the advice. I have calorie counted before, but never in addition to working out. It has always worked for me. Thanks again!

- Analyze the trend of your weight (see under Recent in the figure above)
- Determine the projected target date (see under Overall in the figure above)
