hey everyone
its after dinner, I'm hungry, and I only have 100 cals left in my day! ahhh. I'm more in the mood for something sweet than savory but any suggestions would be much appreciated!
This happens to me all the time, so the more snack ideas the better!
thanks in advance for your help:)
I like having a cup of non fat Greek Yogurt with a pack of Truvia mixed in and a little vanilla extract with some fruit mixed into it.. like blueberries or a nectarine..
that might be a little over 100 calories, but not too much over :)
I also enjoy the Popsicle brand sugar free Fudgsicles.. they're 40 cal each .. so you can have two ;)
My favourite 100-calorie dessert is 40-50 cals worth of berries or chopped fruit topped with 100 g (1/2 cup) of fat-free plain yogurt and either 1 tsp. of honey or 1 tbsp. of low-sugar (extra fruit) jam.
(Please don't lecture me on the how we don't need to avoid fat in our diets. Cow fat makes me ill. I get plenty from other sources, and this is the only way I can eat yogurt.)
for me i work from 3-930 everyday ..end up eating dinner around 7ish at work. and then i generally have around 150 calories when i come home. I make oatmeal!! (those instant backs that you just add water) and its only 120 calories so filling and yummy.. and i definately dont feel deprived or want to eat anything afterwards
try one of the 100 packs of kettle korn popcorn by orville redenbacher! Its the only 100 calorie pack i will even touch and for 100 cals you get a decent amount of popcorn! plus its kinda salty, kinda sweet!!!
To heck with the healthy stuff. You ate healthy all day. Go for a mini warm delight cake (small cake you mix and put in the microwave). Or a frzoen weight watchers dessert. They usually have about 150 calories in them and are sweet, yummy, and you don't feel deprived at all. ![]()
