i posted this in another thread earlier, but i'll post it again because it was so good! i got joseph's flax oatbran pitas. they are the best thing EVER. only 60 cals for a whole one! i spread that with 2 tablespoons of red pepper hummus (40 cals) and that was a nice thick layer! it was so tasty and satisfying. then i was thinking i could have stuffed it with vegetables like cucumbers and red peppers for hardly any extra calories and it would have been even more filling!
2 hebrew national 97% fat free beef franks. there's only 50 calories per frank. so two is 100 calories, and it's pretty filling.
bit weird, but sometimes I put a whole can of tomatoes in a bowl and heat it up in the microwave! says on the can that its like 45 kcals for the whole thing and you get loads lol tastes good to me.. you can add some basil or a bit of grated cheese too.
I like a little bit of lunch meat or tuna (about 2 oz) and something like a red pepper. The pepper makes you feel like you are eating a lot and it is a little sweet. The lunch meat or tuna keeps you full for awhile.
a cup of dannon light n fit vanilla yogurt is only 80 cals and a whole lot of yogurt. you can add 5 almonds for a crunch and some good fats for only 35 more cals.
45 calorie a slice bread
60 calories worth of turkey (4 slices)
15 calorie mustard.
Or you can skip the bread and just roll the turkey with mustard.
another favorite is carrots and ranch dressing.

Cup of large strawberries sliced. Spread a Laughing Cow cheese on top. Total 100 calories.
small plate of boiled egg whites, tomato, cukes, all sliced, with spicy mustard
100 calorie snack packs are everywhere now a days! :)
I like all bran crackers with a laughing cow light cheese wedge- 150 calories
I eat tons of fruits and veggies too. All usually under 100 calories :)

1/3 cup of oatmeal = 100 exactly, egg whites scrambled= 50 ish, fruits and veggies. Apples in particular!
I like Orville R. 100 calorie popcorn mini bags. Very filling and tasty.
A small apple is about 55 calories. So have two and you only go 10 calories past 100!
A cup of almost any fruit or veggie is usually always under 100, so you can have even more.
Fat free jello is very low in calories. It may not be very filling, but if you're in the mood to just eat or are looking for a little dessert, it's a smart choice. Jello also has fat free, sugar free pudding cups that are only 60 calories. They come in delicious flavors like chocolate mint!
PB2 is a powdered peanut butter that is about 50 calories per 2 tbsp - so 4 tbsp would be just over 100. Maybe have 2 tbsp and a small apple.

A big bowl of raw cauliflower, broccoli and mushrooms dipped in 2 Tbsp. light dressing. So good!
Those 100 calorie snack packs are a joke. They taste a lot more like cardboard than the original and are not satisfying at all. You can do soooo much more with 100 calories than eating processed junk.

I just found a great snack for those chocoholics out there. They're called Ococo's and they're little chocolate crispy sweet chips that come in 3 flavors and 90 cals per bag. Great slow snacking at work!
Sounds sort of like a shill/advertisement debsy but I am intrigued nonetheles.

they've got 6 grams of fiber each and 10% your recommended daily amount of calcium... and they're HUGE and soooooo yummy. Not to mention they're 50 calories a pop! The BEST answer to fatty ice cream cravings.

Why are american oats lower in cals that aussie ones? 1/4 of our cups are 113 cals!! Cant be different can it???
Miniature 3 musketeers candy bars. I buy a bag every other week or so. Can't remember if it is 20 or 25 calories for one, but 7 of them only have 5 grams of fat. I usually eat 3 for a snack, so around 75 calories...very yummy, though not as a good source of nutrition as fruit/veggies. Sometimes I just want something sweet and creamy after dinner and it does the trick without causing damage. (plus, a little chocolate is good for you).
And as far as oats go, I eat the quaker instant low sugar (maple & brown sugar). One packet has 120 calories and it is 34 grams, which is around 1.2 ounces. I'm sure the regular kind with no sugar added would be less, but it's worth the few extra for the flavor!
To answer the oats question, it's up to wether yours has some flavoring already included in it. For example, some are apple-cinnamon or mape, and these can cause big calorie differences from flavor to flavor or within the same flavor in different brands. =)
