I think there s a fine line between soup and flavoured water. I prefer soup to be a bit more filling than bouillon and I only take that as a drink.
deleted post; changed my mind
I agree that filling soups are great. :) I eat them for lunch and dinner all the time. And bouillons are normally very high in sodium, even in they read "low sodium". But, on a cold winter day, I love to put my Cup-A-Soup in a mug and drink it like its hot chocolate. The one I eat (or drink) is only 35 calories.

My point is, when you just want a quick, low-calorie fix that can be really filling and warming, these bouillons are great.
hm.. I think low cal. soup is great because it tricks the mind into thinking you've had something slightly more substantial before your main course, and often, in my experience, helps prevent overeating .

I agree. But since the OP mentioned her hypothetical "10 calorie" soup and then never explained what it was, I was just wondering if she considers bouillon to be her "soup."

What is it?

Sk8terdude, ARE YOU KIDDING?  I just read your post about not wanting to eat your birthday cake because you didn't know how many calories are in it, and now YOU are giving the advice to "eat something"???  I really hope there is no one on here actually thinking counting calories is more important than enjoying life.  I believe you can lose weight AND enjoy life at the same time.

There's a fine line bewteen eating something with a little more calories than 10 (let's say 150), and eating something without any nutritional information.  I too wouldn't eat a cake I don't know about, while I'd most probably eat a piece would I know it's worth 420 cals.

Is anyone else curious why keren875 never came back and told us what this soup is?
I keep low sodium bouillion on hand.  Herb Ox makes it in a powdered form that comes in a small jar.  I find that if I'm very hungry and it's not mealtime, a hot beverage really calms my appetite.  I wouldn't consider it "soup" though.

Whats the soup, already?!?!?!?!

You can't post teasers and not follow up! There are some of us that would like to know....

Calm down, people. She might just be busy.
