Calories in bread crust....???
Hey all!! Anyone know about how many calories make up the crust of a commercially prepared peice of bread? I do not have a food scale otherwise I'd just approximate it that way.
Why you ask?
Rachael Ray just showcased a GREAT recipe for baked mozzarella sticks using bread (without the crust), fresh basil, a touch of mozarella and a brush of olive oil.
I totally want to have this as my indulgent side to tonight's baked eggplant parmesan and spaghetti squash dinner.... and at the same time, really don't want to sacrifice any calories burned in my 700 calorie work out from this morning..........
