So everyday I usually jog/walk (at a very fast pace) eight miles outdoors. There are various inclines/declines on the way....I have heard conflicting things from friends and websites...but how much would a 21 y/o male who is in the mid 140's burn doing this? I have heard as low as 400 calories to like 800....I know it depends on the actual course as well, so I am just looking for a rough estimate
Why don't you use the activity browser - you are going to have a much better idea what you mean by "fast pace" that we are.
Plus, the activity browser uses your stats to estimate calories burned - if I looked it up, it would only tell me how much I burn, not how much you burn.

I usually burn about 100 calories a mile doing some jog/walk combo. How long does 8 miles take you? That would help figure out your overall pace.
