I was wondering....as grapes are quite low calorie foods, if you eat them when they've been kept in the fridge, does the amount of calories required to warm them to body temperature sort of cancel out the amount of calories taken in from the grapes?

Thanks

NO.

Maybe a teeny weeny bit with ice, but grapes have quite a lot of sugar in them.

Actually I believe the technical answer is YES but I'm guessing the practical answer is, not enough to make a difference.

If only that were true. :)

Grapes like any other fruit are mainly sugar. Carbs. As they burn fast, chilling them or eating them warm wont make the difference. You will warm the fruit by chewing it regardless.
