How much calories would Cha Gio have?

I used pork, carrots, cellophane noodles and mushrooms for the filling. Fried in corn oil. Anyone know?

That is a spring roll is it?
Don't the package of the wrapper has some calorie info for the wrap? Also, you can calculate the filling based on how much you use, using the recipe analyzer on this site. Without knowing the amount of pork you use,  etc and how lean the meat is, no one but you who make it can calculate the calories of this dish :)

I would suggest tho using olive oil to fried it and just use it to cover half of it (turn the roll after one side is brown). And then fully let the oil drop-off or dried off of the roll before consuming.

i was wondering the same thing and found this:

http://recipes.chef2chef.net/recipe-archive/5 5/290460.shtml

which says 85 cal each but I guestimate it would be more like 200 calories each considering that oil itself (1 tbsp) is 130 calories and i assume that it soaks up at least 1 tsp of oil in the frying.

In my opinion, when in doubt, round up! LOL you shouldn't be eating those if you are trying to calorie restrict. :) (just sayin') LOL

I ate some last night so who am I to talk ha ha ha but i hadn't eaten very much else so i was still within my calorie budget :) felt guilty though :)

Considering olive oil has a low smoking point I don't think it's a good candidate for deep frying.
