How many calories does crying burn?

During heartbreak, we feel sad and shed tears a lot. Will it burn more calories from crying?

I have never seen a calorie count for crying as an activity, but since everything burns calories, crying does too. A good cathartic cry that racks the body will burn more calories than will shedding a few silent tears. I guess that crying and laughing burn about the same number of calories – 1.3 calories per minute, which does not amount to much.
