How many calories in a cup of tea?

Quote  |  Reply
Just for a bog-standard tea bag left in for a short amount of time? No milk or sugar. I can't find it anywhere. It seems to be anything from 0kcal to 30kcal, but I dunno if that's with milk or whatev. Does anyone know?! LOL.

i count it as zero. CC ranges from zero to 2, but it's pretty well-known that black tea and black coffee (i.e. black = no milk or sugar, not trying to discriminate against green teas here) have no calories.
Thanks. I'll count it as 2 to be on the safe side (not that 2kcal makes much difference to ... err ... anything ... but I do drink quite a lot of tea ... so ... you know!). BTW, it's apparently not politically correct to say black tea or white tea nowadays - how hilarious ;-).
really? in my neck of the woods we seem to be immune.

honestly, i think you're fine with zero - most of CCs "tea" listings say zero. the ones that don't are, i'm sure, referring to dessert teas or certain flavours.

hey - check the box! there's probably a nutrition panel!
