Why don't you just look it up yourself, using the search engine? I wouldn't be able to figure it out with just that information - for instance, what kind of dumpling and how big? You don't want to be asking for help every time you have something a little unusual do you?
i just wanted a little estimate X(......
i try using the search engine, but its so hard+ complicated... i dont know any measurements or any nutrition stuff...... i dont even know how calories can get you fat :(. i hear that they're energy...... but why turn into fat?
i'm so new at this DX....
"You don't want to be asking for help every time you have something a little unusual do you?"
-obviously no.... that would be too much work for ME.

You need to do a lot more reading (use the library on CC+) before you set into this, because just your explanation of your understanding of what a calorie is and what it does tells me you are headed down a very bad path - you need to understand what you are doing if you diet, so that you don't take it too far and hurt yourself.
Sushi is terrible for diets; most are like 300 per piece. That's 1000 calories right there if you're lucky, 1750 if you are not.
The strawberries are probably not more than 50 calories.
The mangos are probably about 250-300. The chocolate 200+.
The pie crust is 100+.
The dumpling is probably about 200.
the library.... X( okay X*(
sushi's bad for you?!?!! THATS IMPOSIBLE O:.. its just fish with rice...
and 1 dumpling is about 200?!!!?!
i better watch myuself toay.......
If it has double fish, it might be 400/500 per roll.
As long as you stay away from deep fried rolls, sushi is extremely healthy.
What type of Dumpling was it? Pot sticker or Bao?
An entire Mango is 135 calories, I doubt you ate more than one mango.

Where do you get that idea? Sushi is great for diets actually, especially the basic fish and rice rolls. A serving of fresh yellowfin tuna for example has about 30 calories! 4 pieces of spicy tuna roll only has 140 calories.

At the buffet go for the food that is steamed-- You can have limitless steamed veggies and not worry about calories. Watch out for fried and greasy items. Go for steamed rice. Or, eat salad all day and allow yourself to enjoy the whole buffet at dinner. Enter in some of your favorite dishes in the calorie counter before hand to see what they add up to. Just pick a similar brand if need be.
I agree that you will need to learn how to measure your own food and look up calories. Here's some simple tips if your mom doesn't have a food scale-- judge foods by things you already know-- like a can of soda is 12 ounces, you know what a quart or half gallon of milk looks like-- take a peek at the measurements on a stick of butter-- just use what you have already at home as a way to start comparing sizes and weights. Start reading labels too.

Umm...sushi is not that bad. It's not 300 calories per piece, it's 300 calories per roll.
You should also check out some websites about portion sizes. This will help you convert servings to ounces to grams to whatever other units you might want to use.
This information came from http://www.webmd.com/diet/control-portion-siz e.
1. 1/2 cup vegetables or fruit is about the size of your fist.
2. 1/2 cup of pasta is about the size of one scoop of ice cream.
3. 3oz meat, fish or poultry is the size of a deck of cards or the size of your palm (minus the fingers).
4. 1 med. apple is the size of a baseball.
5. 1 med. potato is the size of a computer mouse.
6. 1 small bagel is the size of a hockey puck.
7. 1 4" pancake is the size of a compact disc.
8. 1/2 cup steamed rice is the size of a cupcake wrapper.
9. 1oz cheese is the size of a pair of dice or the size of your whole thumb (from the tip to the base).
If you're going to "diet", then you should become more educated about food, nutrition and health. So often people say, "I'm going to eat less," but that doesn't help if you're not eating the right things, or if you're not aware of how much you're eating.
