900 Calories per day + Exercise?
I was wondering if this is a safe method. I usually eat 900 calories a day and exercise for around an hour. I lose about a pound or a little less a day [I weigh every morning.]
I'm 15 years old, btw.

pattycakes, 900 cals are really low, especially if you are 15, you're still growing, you need proper nutrition and enough fuel especially if you are exercising. you could possibly be doing some real damage to your body. i highly doubt that you are losing that much weight in fat daily, that's really almost impossible to do. look into the tools on this site and put in your info to figure out what the right amount of calories should be. good luck to you and if you have any more questions after you read through the site and get informed please ask, we'll try and help.
look around at the other posts..... this is definitely not safe. shoot for a minimum of 1200 and you probably burn a lot more (therefore you can eat more) b/c you are 15 and working out. i'd go for at least 1500 a day. what you are doing now is dangerous. you aren't getting all the nutrients you need.
No, this is absolutely not safe. Your body needs at least 1200 calories to function properly. 1 pound or so a day is dangerous, extremely. You're young and your body is still growing, you could be doing some serious damage. If you're serious about losing weight in a healthy way use this site to your advantage. Use the tools, read the forums.

So basically you are not giving your body any fuel to run the organs you need to survive!
I wouldn't be surprised if you end up in the hospital before long.
Please, realize what you are doing and Stop abusing yourself!
