It's 8:30 pm here in Portugal, and I already had dinner... And the total of the day was just 723 calories!! Although I didn't exercised today,  I was exausted for walking so much at work...

And I'm worried that I ate so few calories! What should I do? Should I eat something at these hours or what? What do you think?

Please respond ;)

Yes you should eat something :)  Depending on how many calories you have as your calorie goal for the day, you can decide what.  If I were you, I'd get a bean and cheese burrito from Taco Bell, though I don't know if there are any in Portugal, but they are only 350 calories here!  You can also make yourself some peanut butter and jelly on a sandwich, lean meat, maybe a chicken and veggie wrap, or maybe even a sweet to finish off your day :)

Eat.

Eat Portuguese Fried Dough!

PS: Are you traveling or are you a native of Portugal?

I'm a native! And I'm not aware of that dish?! :p

Oh cool! I live in an area in Massachusetts that is considered New Portugal. I am half Portuguese (and half Brazilian).

I believe the fried dough is called malasadas? Every Holy Ghost feast we have serves it.

I say if you're not feeling hungry, don't stuff yourself. 8:30pm is still kinda early, so if you start feeling hungry before you go to bed, have a snack then. If not, there's nothing wrong with just having a bigger breakfast when you wake up.

Wow, that's so cool, I didn't know that existed a place with such name!

I know what you're talking about, yeah, it's called malassadas! it's SO good, but soo high in calories, because it's deep fried and stuff like that. Even if I wanted to eat that now, I couldn't because they only sell it on shacks in the streets, in festivities and stuff like that :(

I honestly would say if you arent hungry don't sweat it, eating lower then your target one day won't hurt you.  As long as this isnt a problem on a regular basis you dont need to make yourself eat when you dont feel like it.  If you do get hungry though, have a snack!  Also, you can always eat a little extra tomorrow and you'll lose the same amount of weight in the long run.  Thats what i've done when this has happened to me, i use the extra calories to treat myself the next day when i am actually feeling hungry enough that i want to eat.

Have a glass of milk and a handful of dried fruit or nuts (or similar high cal low volume snack).

If you're not very hungry, just have a snack. If I haven't eaten much the day before, I can wake up with a headache the next morning. As such, I'll have some milk and a few crackers or a cup of popcorn before bed. Not very heavy (calories or feeling), so it's good before sleeping, and I have some energy to start the day.

If you're really, really not interested in eating anything, don't lose sleep over it. It's only a problem if it happens more than occasionally, which doesn't seem like the case here.

I find that sometimes, even if I don't feel hungry, if I have less than 1,200 calories I can't sleep. (and not because it's the "magic number" lol, it's been a pattern I've noticed.) I guess my body knows that it wasn't fed well that day, so I try to keep my minimum to 1,300.

Yes eat more, eat a handful of almonds, a glass of milk or soymilk, a dessert treat, peanut butter sandwich. Make sure to get no less than 1200 per day. It is important.
