Calories needed daily to maintain weight loss

Is there a good idea or calculation to use to maintain weight loss?  I see things on line but nothing matches up.  Any advice to maintain that weight loss by calorie counting?  I lost 13 lbs and have gained 3 of it back....what is a good number of calories to eat at 132 lbs 5'8?  I want to get to 128 lbs.

I'd greatly recommend using the tools on this site Smile just go to your account settings and put your goals/weight etc in and it will tell you the cals you should consume to lose weight or maintain.

I am your height and weigh 128. I maintain on 1500 to 1600 per day.  So if I eat 1500 I lose slightly. I am 51, I go to the gym 3 times a week, otherwise might hike or cycle.  Chances are you are younger than me, so need more than 1500. So maybe on 1500 you can slowly get back to 128.  Once there, you add 100 calories per day, per week. So 1600 the first week, 1700 the next. Do this until your weight levels off. It takes some tinkering around.  Really no one can tell you because people's metabolisms vary. Also you might vary from time of the year... winter to summer... depending on your activity level.

I lost a couple pounds I had not intented, had a change in metabolism (taking green tea capsules), so am doing this process again... but in reverse of you. I'm eating 1800 a day until I get back to 128, then will cut back to 1700, then 1600, until I figure out my right level again.  I weigh in ever day, then figure the average for the week, and compare that to the previous week.

Prior to this, I had long been eating 1500 to maintain... probably really needed slightly more than that. When my weight was under 128, I would eat 200 calories more that day... in this way I regulate my weight.  I'm seldom over 128. The last time as high as 129 was April.
