Calories in VS Calories out

Quote  |  Reply

I started on this site 2 days ago.  Yesterday was the only day that I was under my daily goal of calories in.  I have, however, had a higher number of calories out.  I know what I am doing wrong as far as my food intake, but I can't fix that until the next time I do a big shopping trip.  This is my question though.  Will I shed pounds by just making sure my activity level is high?

sorry but from my own 9-year experience i'm telling you you won't lose weight until you limit your calorie intake n work out 5-6 times a week, cardio n strength training, u can start gradually, start by 30-min cardio like walking 3 times, n strength training like crunches n the like the othe three days...but you have to LIMIT YOUR CAL INTAKE, start substituting unhealthy foods with veggies, raw nuts, fruits...but it's better if you take baby steps n decide to lose weight on the long term

good luck ; )

Question abut calories:  My calorie allotment   is 1450.  When I exercise the calories burned increases.  I know calories in vs. calories out is the key factor to losing the weight but my question is,  if you burn 4 to 500 more calories per day, do you have to eat more to keep your body from going into starvation mode and not releasing the weight (while still monitoring the calories in vs. calories out factor.    I have weighed the same now for the last 4 weeks - maybe a tenth of a lb up and a tenth of a lb. down, etc.   I just don't understand what I need to do to get out of the plateau!

of course you can add up i guess up to 200 healthy cals (veggiesor fruits), you can check this from your profile, check our account setting, you find the word (advice) between brackets, click on it and read, they tell you how many cals you should consume if you burn more or less than usual...you should it check it out.

hope this was helpful ; )
