Hey guys, i was wondering how many cals you normally spend at each meal? Was really wondering about breakfast co im running out of ideas
Usually between 200-400. It depends what I have.
I eat about four or five times a day, usually no more than 250 calories per meal (with a diet consisting mainly of very low-calorie foods such as vegetables that limit is hard to exceed without feeling bloated and stuffed). Breakfast and lunch are the bigger meals with about 250 for each respectively, after that I eat smaller meals roughly every three hours, they're about 200 cals each.
I alternate breakfasts to include cereals, toast, eggs, yoghurts, porridge, smoothies, cooked meats, cottage cheese, peanut butters.... Anything goes.
In terms of calories, breakfast can range anywhere from 300 to 700 calories. Typically, breakfast and lunch are the most substantial meals for me with a light dinner.
Breakfast is 3/4 cup bran flakes, 1/2 cup fatfree milk and 1/2 cup blueberries. Around 200 cals.
I try to save the calories for evening because I know I will start craving then. They say it's better to not eat late but I know I will so i try to save the good portion of my cals for then or else I will go over. I do eat small things here and there throughout the day. 200 for breakfast, 200 for lunch, 100 snack a couple times. This may not be the healthiest way to do it but I know myself and the evening is the time when I will bust through my limit if I don't plan a good meal for then. 600 or so for dinner. Then at night I try to say a little bit for a bowl of fatfree icecream and cool whip light. 150 or so (1/2 cup)
breakfast is 450-500 calories for me, while the rest are basically 100-250.
i feel uncomfortable eating more later in the day; i prefer to knock out a lot of my calories during breakfast.
What type of food should not be eaten?
