Canadians - what are your favourite low-calorie/healthy products?
Hey fellow Canucks!
I'm tired of hearing/reading about awesome products that can only be found in the States! Post your fave foods while dieting/eating healthy that can be found in Canada.
I'll start: my fave cookies right now are New Sun's all natural sugar-free varieties (raisin and apple cinnamon) 60kcal each
Some of Loblaws' President's Choice Blue products are cool - I'm loving the vegetarian bolognese sauce. 80kcal per 1/2 cup
P.S. posts don't need to be brand specific - if you have any extra ideas about foods you like to use that are readily available in Canada - go for it! ![]()

Cellophane_star - I believe there is a Whole Foods in Toronto.
Yep, there are a few WF stores in Ontario & near Vancouver. I live in Calgary though. It will probably come here eventually.
Canucks, I have a question for you!
Have any of you found Pumpkin Butter anywhere? At all? The closest thing I found was Pumpkin Seed Butter at Planet Organic, but never have I seen pumpkin butter...
Anyone anyone?

Actually, it looks quite easy to make yourself (one recipe here. I've bought pumpkin butter at Granville Island Market in Vancouver (you can order it from their online store here (I've tried both of these brands & they're both great!).
I've also bought pumpkin pecan butter at Williams Sonoma but it's only available seasonally (meaning it's probably in stores now!)
Ohwowww Petite_Nanner!
I got some of the Annie's Bunny Grahams the other day (chocolate flavour) and you're right, they're SO good!! : D Just bursting with chocolate-y flavour, and great nutrition/ingredient wise compared to similar products.
@cellophane - I bought the William's Sonoma Pumpkin Butter! It's AMAZINGGGGGG! But...it was $14.50 :\
WE NEED A TRADER JOE'S UP HERE - STAT!

Glad to hear you are enjoying them! I have only ever bought the honey flavour, but will now consider picking up the chocolate next time (which will be soon as I am out AGAIN...)
Call me crazy, but when I crave snacks at night, I really like Danone Silhouette 0+ yogurt. It's only 35 calories for 100 grams and has just enough sweetness in it to feel like you're having a pudding or something. Lots of really nice flavours too like Pineapple Green Tea, Strawberry Banana, Tropical Mango, etc. You can eat a small bowl of it pretty much guilt-free.
I also like Buttered Popcorn flavour Rice Cakes from Quaker. 35 calories each.

So you can keep track of what you eat - which enables you to analyze your foods and receive the following:
- Health Score of your overall diet
- Warning when you approach your daily calorie limit
- Overview of the good and bad nutrients
