Hello Aladrien,
IAMKim from Windsor, Ontario. Where in Canada are you from?
The last post for Canadians was in April. I've only found this site in June. I am sure that more Canadians have found this site since April.

Hey klecot! I'm from outside of Toronto kind of. Hehe! I live in a tiny town that nobody's heard of, but it's kind of near Toronto. How's Windsor? I've actually never been there!
Hi aladrien,
We had a strom last night, but I heard Toronto had a better one. At least it broke the heat.
I was in Toronto two months ago. I rode the subway for the first time. What a blast! We only have buses here. I might be a hick, but I could not believe you could spend all day under ground.

The novelty wears off the first time you do spend all day underground and then don't see the sun.
klecot - I was sitting outside during my supper break at work last night and the sky went from blue to black in less then 2 minutes. Boy was it scary!! The wind was pretty intense. It didn't rain where I was, but it was sure windy and cloudy. As I was driving home later that night, you could see lightning light the entire sky the whole ride home. Pretty scary! Lots of branches down and power outages around this area. But yes, it did break the heat quite well. :)
supersized - I'm not a big fan of Toronto's underground either. Too dingey and stuffy and too many people. I have reactive airway disease (similar to asthma) so the stuffiness and crowds get to me. I do enjoy the fast speed and ease of Toronto's metro though! It sure beats driving.

aladrien...I am from a small town in the middle of Belleville and Kingston. We were lucky and the storms missed us.
I lived in North Bay Ont. for four years.
I'm in Halifax now, though I was born in the National Capital Region, scenic Ottawa, ON.
Woot! Canadian all the way baby!!:)
I am over on Manitoulin Island, in Lake Huron! I'll be coming down to Toronto around the start of October if anyone would like to meet up for a coffee.
I'm in Kitchener, so I'm not far from TO, either.
Beautiful BC! :)
ix, I would love to meet up with you in October. Maybe us Ontario folks could have our own get together? I can afford a weekend in T.O. How would that be with everyone in the area?
im from calgary!
Ooh, I'm from Calgary too!
