Charlotte - I started at 170 lbs a couple of years ago. I lost the weight by about a year and a half ago by going to the gym and by running. I also started paying attention to my eating habits.

Just over a year ago, I started to gain a bit (I think I just kind of let the good habits slide). I gained about 15 lbs and then I joined this site just over a year ago, where I lost the weight again. I've now been maintaining my current weight since June.

And more on the Timmies.... I'm about to get my XL 1/2 cream 1/2 sugar when I get to work. There's a Tim's about a 30 sec walk from my desk. :) jealous, everyone?

I'm glad there's no timmies 30 sec from me.. I'd be eating muffins and cappucino all the time and calorie-counting would be completely pushed from my mind. lol

My fiance' is from Montreal....so I am half Canadian!!!

My nearest Timmies is about 90 minutes away. I live in Northern Ontario on a tropical island. We have white sandy beaches! Here, put on these mittens to protect you from getting sunburn! *wink*

I'm a displaced Canadian...kind of.....l think :o)  Born in UK but moved to Vancouver when I was 6, also lived in Edmonton for 3 years, currently living in Southern England and moving back to Vancouver hopefully by end of 2007!  Can't wait to get back
