Candy! Pizza!

Quote  |  Reply

I had a great weekend! Tongue out   I had pizza, then I ate about 1/2 bag of Halloween M&M's ( umm, yea, not the little single serving bag but the MEDIUM bag) and then I had a piece of cake and and and then I had candy corn!  What a hum-dinger of a weekend.  I have to laugh about it or I will just cry and give up.  But... I won't.  Its done, its over and today is today.  I gained 3 lbs but that is the price I paid for losing my **** mind.  LOL.

I went to the gym everyday this weekend, ran 6 miles... just had a little bit of a binge.  I recognize it was brought on by stress, lack of control of my surroundings/life and I was exhausted.  By the way, burping pizza topped with M&M's while running is rather nasty, I wouldnt recommend it!  LOL.

It happens! I'm glad you are deciding to pick yourself up and start again. Never really good to stay in the past. Good for you!! :)

So moral of your story:

It's okay to overindulge once in a while! :) Just keep it in the past and keep moving on!

Awesome!!!!!

What a positive spin on a story!

I did the same at the weekend and had so much banana cakey and takeaway pizza :S

x

Ok now I don't feel that bad, Friday night....Movie Popcorn....Saturday night....Pizza Rolls.....Last night.....Fried Fish...fried prawns..tartar sauce...ketchup...3-4 french fries..SIGH. But you move on right? let's all leave it the past and just keep going.

I may as well jump in with my bad weekend. Friday and Saturday consisted of 2 hot chocolates from Tim Hortons, cafe mocha complete with whipped cream, an apple fritter, Subway, tons of pretzels, 3 candy bars, Wendy's boneless wings, and probably some stuff I don't even remember eating. LOL Haven't weighed myself, and I'm not going to until next week.

Saturday consisted of thousands of terrible calories:

bagel, PB, candy bars (plural Embarassed), a couple pastries, lots of cookies, and gardettos.

I'm so embarrassed, but I think acknowledging the fact that we messed up, why we ate badly, and moving forward is the perfect remedy!

I'm glad I'm not the only one!

Good luck this week everyone!!!!!!!!

See?  Everybody stumbles, everybody eats candy  (LOL) and apparently, Pizza is high on the list of "messed up" foods!  I humbly submit... we are human.  Laughing

Fried falafel with tahini on it and soda yesterday, but its not too bad because the falafel was delicious and me and my boyfriend made it and ate it together so it wasnt mindless binging or something. Also I rode on some bike trails, mountain biking yesterday, and it was terrifiying but i did it and didnt get hurt too badly, so the calories are probably gone from that.

jennifer58, you just made my day! I messed up a bit on Saturday, not so much with eating bad things, just overeating a little in general and now I just overate again today, had a little bag of peanut m&ms (thank god we have the mini 90 cal bags b/c I can go to town with peanut m&ms) a mini twix, and some sour patch kids, some sunchips and a bit of nutella and pb. Not as bad as my usual binge, but I'm alreayd at about 2100 something for the day, and its only going to be 3 o'clock. I was doing so well too but you made me realize that dwelling on things doesn't get us anywhere! I'm going to go running at like 5 when I've digested a bit and lift, and tonight I have an indoor game, so I should hopefully be able to just keep it to maintenance at least today. But I was so upset with myself b/c I'm really trying not to do this anymore (come home and start eating and not stop) but you made me realize its ok and just to finish out the day well and do better tomorrow! So thank you!!!

I went to a wedding...sooo I had cake and champagne, along with food. 3 bad days in a row really. I split a terrible boneless wings/mini burgers/cheese and bacon fries appetizer with my bf on Friday when I was already at 1300, had all the wedding stuff on Saturday and Fudrucker's (2/3 lb triple cheese with bacon) on Sunday.

Eh. I am about 3-4 lbs from a BMI of 24.9 and it is taking forever so this definitely doesn't help.

Ah well. I'm not weighing in for a week or so.

I also had a horrible weekend...
My grandparents took me on vacation and we ate out for every meal... ugh... I tried to keep stuff light, but I still have a huge problem throwing away food, and I didn't have a fridge in my hotel room. errgghh. Not to mention, I hardly worked out at all.
I'm going to look on the bright side though. Now I am all rested up and ready for a good week!
Oh, and also, for some reason, I weigh less today than before my vacation. I'm not taking the number too seriously, but it was a pleasant surprise, as I was definitely prepared for the worst.

Six miles? WOW! I know I am out of shape, but I can never run even half a mile without having to stop and feel the urge to throw up.

CONGRATULATIONS on your hard work!

Thanks cicatrize.... Couch potato to 5k.  I started it last year and lo and behold... I am following a 1/2 marathon training schedule!  Its amazing what you can do when you simply decide you are going to do it!

I am in awe of your determination. It's great you've come so far! Personally, I'm not a couch potato but find biking, walking, and short, slow jogs much easier than a whole 5K or 10K.
