Why can't I get back to this?!
Okay so ive done this program before, I lost 20 pounds just by keeping track of my calories, but now I've gained a little bit of weight back and i'm not as motivated to count again. I used to trick myself into thinking that my boyfriend thought I was fat, of course he didn't really think that but its what made me lose what I did. So should I do that again so I get motivated to count again or try something else because I really want to hit my ultimate goal of 145.
BTW: I am 5'8", weight of 155.6, female
Why does it matter--to YOU, that is? Can you do things more easily that were harder at 20 lbs more? Do your clothes fit better? Do you want to avoid having to spend $$$ on bigger clothes? Do you feel more energetic because you are eating so much healthier?
These are just random questions to try to help you figure out what will work to motivate you. The other thing to think about is, what led you to re-gain? A few parties in a row? A really big weeked/vacation? Or was it more like just overeating a little here and there, all the time?
I hope some of this helps you find your answers, and good luck in your renewed program!
I am in the same boat you are in. I started here in Sept of last year and lost 20 lbs. Stopped counting in Dec and didn't really gain a lot back. In June I decided that I wanted to lose the last 10-12 lbs. I do really good on the weekdays but then seem to blow it on the weekends. So I really haven't lost anything in the last month. GRRRRRR So I am going to try really hard to stick to it this weekend. Mayb we could keep each other motivated. Check in once a week and what not.
My Stats- 5'7" 151.5 and I want to get down to between 138-140
