I walked 2 miles on the treadmill, non-stop. To me, this is a big accomplishment considering a year and a half ago, after just 3 minutes on the treadmill, I was in so much pain and so out of breath I thought I would pass out before I could sit down. When I got done tonight, I wasn't even breathing hard and my pulse rate was at around 115, and I didn't have to run to the nearest chair to sit down to recuperate. So....YAY ME!!! One of these days I am going to have the same body I had in the picture in my photo gallery, minus the long, thick, head of hair though. I don't think there is any hope there, LOL. Anyways, I just had to brag a little, thanks for reading my post!!

awesome!!!

I started out with 3 mins 1 time a day too.... and have been working on building up.  I remember the 1st time I hit 1/2 a mile.  10 mins... 13 mins...

Gr8 Job!!!  Woo hoo!!!
Oh, it absolutely is an accomplisment -- I agree! I'm glad to hear it. Can't wait to hear about more of your improvements. I'm sure it will give others hope and motivation as well! :)

Woo Hoo!!! So proud of you!

:-)
WOO HOO...  It's a huge accomplishment!  Good for you..  You'll get better and better and better!

I remember after having my baby, I tried to get out of bed, and my Ab muscles were like...well, GONE!   Now, 6 months later, I'm doing over 200 situps daily....  :)  Once all my flab is gone, everyone can see my "KILLER ABS"!  :)  hehehe

Good for you!
Awesome work! Keep up the training.

Hugest Congrats! That is awesome! Keep up the good work!
Hey, you know what... unless your picture lies... you still have hair my man.  You just need to lose the weight and eat healthier and I bet it springs back into action ;)

Way to go though!   That's a great milesone and you keep at it and pretty soon you'll be upping the speed more and more and more.

Currently I walk at 4 to 4.6 mph.   I never imagined when I started I'd get to that fast.   At home, before I lost some weight, I barely could do 3.4 mph on our treadmill.

Keep on truckin!
Congrats!  It's great to read about these successes.... you're motivation for everyone else!

Keep up the great work.... with or without the long hair =)
Yeah I still have hair up there, but it isn't as thick as it use to be. Also, I think the grey ones are eating the brown ones, LOL. Anyways, thanks for all the nice comments. I am so happy I found this site. The comradery and moral support really helps. Thanks again ya'll.
I know all to well about the grey ones eating the brown ones... my hair has been in that battle for about 10 years now (I'm only 33).

That's better than losing hair though... so I can' t complain too much.

I've actually noticed in the last month of this diet along with my multivitamins that my greys aren't standing out as much.  Maybe I've just been extra deficient in some vitamin?   They aren't completely going away but they aren't as bright as they once were either :)

Dudes talking hair...

Only on the net ... Ha!
