Hi,

I never thought I would join something like this because I never had a problem with weight -  that is until I hit 30 something and had kids.

I am 5'5, 142 lb. and only want to lose 10 lb. mainly because I feel better at that weight and none of my clothes fit anymore.  CC recommends about 1300 calories/day. I tried that a while back and didn't lose any weight the first week and only 1 lb. the second week which was discouraging.  I gave up not long after that. My eating habits aren't terrible but I am a carb-a-holic.

This is a great site and I hope it can give me the little push I need
