I can't believe 8 pounds in 11 months...

I just noticed that I have 2 accounts on here which I have to some how join together or cancel one.  But I was going through my weight chart and noticed that the last time I weighed in was January 08 and I was 8 pounds lighter.  How did that happen?  This is not a question anyone can answer but is 8 pounds considered a lot for a year?  Should I be really worried that something medically is wrong?  Well not medically but is there something wrong?  I don't know I am just shocked  I didn't know that I gained so much or was so much lighter 11 months ago.  I am a bit shocked.  WOW

Since January, that's not a lot. I've gained 8 pounds since the end of August just from stress snacking and not having time to exercise thanks to homework. I don't feel any different, even though I can see the difference and I'm working to correct it.

Basically, even a little extra does add up over a year, and 8 pounds in a year is easy not to notice. Don't worry about it too much. But if you want to head off weight gain or lose weight, take another look at your exercising and meal plans.

Nope, it's nothing to be medically concerned about--it just shows how easily the weight can crawl back on. You figure eight pounds is equal to 28,000 extra calories...in eleven months (48 weeks), that's about 583 extra calories a week...or less than 100 every day. Very, very easy to happen. But luckily you've caught it and can do something to cut it off at the pass. :-) Good luck!

I really wouldnt be concerned about gaining 8 lbs in 11 months. Like Moon said, thats only an extra 100 calories a day! Also, in July when I was visiting the in-laws, I wasnt watching the calories and gained 6 lbs in a month, so really you have done well. LOL.

Good luck with losing it again!

I couldn't believe it when I looked at the chart.  I was like wow how did this happen although I know how it happened I just thought it happened it the two weeks that I was having the munch attack I call it.  I guess that I am happy it happened in 11 months instead of those 2 weeks who knows.  Its here I am just going to have to deal with it.  I can't seem to lose any weight though.  I have been following and loggin in for a week and I have actually gained 2 pounds I don't know I am just going to continue lets see what happens.

PS  This may sound gross and I apologize in advance but this morning I weighed myself and was one weight.  I went to the bathroom and then weighed again and was down 2 pounds.  Does that really weigh that much?  LOL

Your weight can fluctuate up to 5 lbs in just 1 day. You're always lighter in the morning than at night, b/c you haven't eaten or retained any water yet. I'm sure the difference from January is not really 8 lbs. Weighing yourself at different times of the day and on different scales, those are variables that could throw the number off. No worries!

Oh I hope your right gemini but I haven't seen the weight come off in several weeks not even in the past week and I have been at this for a week.  I know it takes time but I would like to see something.  It helps when u see a lose because then u want to keep going.
