"I can't control myself around..."
Yup, we all have those foods that never fail to tempt us! So, what foods do you guys love... but try to avoid because you know you'll binge on it DESPITE your attempt to "eat in moderation"?
For me it's:
cereal
watermelon
trail mix
cookies
ice cream
cheese

Had to go to the mini bags of popcorn otherwise I'd eat a whole one and pringles are my cheat treat because I can't just eat the serving size....can do a whole can in a sitting.
Have you tried the Pringles baked wheat stix? I have them in Pizza flavour and they're only 90 calories per pack. Yummy!
If I didn't have any restrictions..... It would have to be.......
- Country Fried Steak (Country Fried Pork Chop)
- White or Sausage Gravy
- Extra Crispy Hash Browns
- Scrambled Eggs (or Over Easy)
- Big Fluffy Biscuits
(mouth is watering now)
I mostly have trouble with complete meals. Another choice would have to be Turkey Dinner with all the Fixin's. Boy, am I going to have trouble during the holidays. This is the first time that I have SERIOUSLY been on a diet during the holidays.
It used to be just french fries, but I now realize it's just any kind of unhealthy preparation of potato: french fries, potato chips, tater tots, potato skins, hash browns ("greasy spoon" style), mashed potatoes, scalloped, etc.
Oh man, dare I even start typing it out?
--peanut butter
--cheese
--honey roasted almonds
--cookies
--other fresh baked goods
I can't be trusted around any kind of cake. I had wedding cake left over from my first anniversary and it would have disappeared had I not given it to my mom to take home with her. There is a certain bakery here that makes the best cake and it is so good it's dangerous!! For some reason I'm OK around cookies or ice cream, but with cake I just lose it...
I have done surprisingly well on my diet. Yesterday, there were cookies out at work, but I walked right past them and grabbed my apple from the fridge.
HOWEVER, I will knock you over for some sushi or Mexican food!
For me it's:
ANYthing chocolate (candy, ice cream, brownies, cookies)
And any other desserts, especially pie!
But I find eating in moderation helps. Because I know if I completely take sweets out of my diet, then I'll just crave them even more and over-eat when I finally have them. So I usually allow myself 1-2 small servings of sweets a day.
has to be ice cream, cereal, custard creams (are an actual dream) and chocolate digestive biscuits with tea cos i have to have about 10 they are so good, pizza, mexican food and chinese food in general. only cos takeaways give you such huge amounts and i can't ever leave food on the plate.
PASTA!! we have a love-hate relationship.
I can easily eat a whole loaf fresh baked bread, or an entire tub of sour cream, on anything! Needless to say, these are thing I don't buy!
Hersey kisses with caramel!!!!
I can't even keep them in the house. I clear a bag in three days. Oh, little chocolately-caramelly divine little kisses from heaven, how I love thee... yummmmm
--peanut butter and wheat thins. I will eat the WHOLE box of wheat thins.
--trail mix of any type. Will. Be. Gone.
--Any sort of sweet (cookies, ice cream, chocolate bars)
--doritos
I can't control myself around...my bf! Last weekend we busted out the deep fryer and made egg rolls, drank bottles of wine, he fixed me a plate at our party that had a slice of pizza, 2 chicken drumsticks, brownies and shrimp, we ate a box and a half of ice cream bars and then he made me his favorite breakfast he makes himself-huge tortilla with scrambled egg, green chile, and several maple breakfast sausages!
Ah, it was good though :)
i will not share a slice of pizza with my own child.... that is how bad it is for me!!!! PIZZA and BROWNIES..... i dance while i eat them.... if you have ever seen a grown woman dancing with excitment at your local pizza buffet..... it was probably my fat butt.... stuffing my face and grinning!!!
OH and birthday cake.... white on white..... uuummmmm!!!
OMG!! peanut butter I love and had 1 sandwich on white bread and butter!!!
I am soooo bad.
And if I bake cookies for my family usually half I eat!!!! HELP
I know they should be around but I should be able to control my self. I watched Biggest Loser and they talk about gum so much I am going to give it a try.
Oh man...if there were a bag of those white cheddar (organic I think, though now that's sounding impossible) Cheetos in my area, I will eat the entire bag in one or two sittings. Any other kind of Cheetos and the same thing happens, but I can't resist those white cheddar ones.
And, any kind of dinner roll they serve before a meal at restaurants...if there's a basket of them and i'm not feeling uncomfortable around the people i'm there with, i'll eat whatever no one else eats.
Chocolate Brownies
Hershey Kisses
M&M's
Reese's Puff Cereal
Nilla Wafers
Baked Ruffles or Baked Lays
Now fortunately, my partner doesn't like these foods (or food-like substances) so they don't make their way into the house very often!
