"I can't control myself around..."

Yup, we all have those foods that never fail to tempt us! So, what foods do you guys love... but try to avoid because you know you'll binge on it DESPITE your attempt to "eat in moderation"?

For me it's:

cereal

watermelon

trail mix

cookies

ice cream

cheese

i can't control myself around oxygen.  beyond that, i am in control (if not me, then who?).

right now it would have to be cashews...even though i know how high cal/fat they are once i start i sometimes cannot stop myself

I have extraordinary willpower around all types of food.

Open a bottle of nice wine though and, oh god...

cookies!

tortilla chips & salsa/dip<3

ice cream

anytime chocolate and peanutbutter are combined for a desserttt!

Chinese... pretty much anytime of yummy ethnic dishes that involve rice, Thai, Japanese, Sushi...

Can't stop once I start.

I always say, I'll order some then just eat a little bit... yeah right

That sodium packed on another two pounds, I had previously lost, due to having chinese twice and sushi once this week!

pizza and cereal. Though I'm learning to control myself by pairing each item with filling low cal items. 1 slice of pizza with a giant salad; 1.5 cups cereal, 1 cup skim milk, 1 cup strawberries.

Pumpkin pie around the holidays

And when I used to work at the school.....school pizza on Fridays

cheese and chips--I go completely nuts

Colby cheese

pizza

leftover meatloaf....doesn't matter if there is one piece or half a loaf, it will be gone by morning.

I love when people act like there is no food for which  they occasionally lose self control.  Are you human?  No one's perfect.  No use pretending to be!

Same here: peanut butter, cookies, any kind of trail mix, bread/flour tortillas, cheese, chocolate of most kinds.

Good thing we know our weaknesses!

i might sometimes relinquish control, but that's a choice.  it's still my control to give up.

i mean, if someone posted a thread about being under the control of--say--a husband or boyfriend, we'd all leap to say how the relationship is unhealthy, she should get out, she's worth more than that, etc.  but being under the control of inanimate objects makes sense?

no, potato chips do not control me.  i control potato chips.

Original Post by rachelcrow:

I can't control myself around...my bf!  Last weekend we busted out the deep fryer and made egg rolls, drank bottles of wine, he fixed me a plate at our party that had a slice of pizza, 2 chicken drumsticks, brownies and shrimp, we ate a box and a half of ice cream bars and then he made me his favorite breakfast he makes himself-huge tortilla with scrambled egg, green chile, and several maple breakfast sausages!

Ah, it was good though :)

I completely agree! I have the best willpower all week and I eat so healthy BUT as soon as the weekend comes and I'm with my bf it all goes out the window. He eats junk food so then I do too, he goes to Tacobell and gets me food and once i smell it I can't turn it down lol it's so sad
