"I can't control myself around..."

Yup, we all have those foods that never fail to tempt us! So, what foods do you guys love... but try to avoid because you know you'll binge on it DESPITE your attempt to "eat in moderation"?

 

For me it's:

cereal

watermelon

trail mix

cookies

ice cream

cheese

  • Pasta is any form
  • Rice
  • Waffles, pancakes etc...
  • Birthday cakes
  • Broccoli
  • Salad (if Im hungry)
  • Sometimes, even BREAD
  • Sometimes candy
  • Popcorn

Though, I have learned some self-control lately, and now I seem to be in charge of what goes in my mouth. Yayness! :D

Lately I've been in a lot more control...but you know sometimes when your brain switches off and you don't realise that you're eating something you really shouldn't be, or having too much of it, and you don't realise til after!? D'oh!

Usually with me it ends up happening with baking...chocolate caramel slice?? Yummm! Or if someone bakes cookies...hard to resist. I love starbacks though, I schedule in a weekly caramel frappachino....

Oh god

Any carb for the most part- Bread, Pizza, Noodles, cookies, etc.

Ice cream, chocolate, nuts...

Pretty much anything that is in front of me that isnt healthy. haha.

Scones with jam, and any cluster/oat/muesli cereal, I will eat those until the sun comes down!! :)

Peanut butter...even better n' peanut butter will be gone in a couple of days

any kind of cake...I just refuse to make one that will stay @ my house

 

Friends who order take out and say "What are you getting Jade?"

ugh. gets me every time

CEREAL!  My ' bowlfuls ' are more like ' boxfulls '!!!!  So much so I get variety packs and as I live on my own I leave them in the boot of my Dads car and take one each time I see him!  Shameful!

Others would be -

* chocolate Quark

* crackers and jam

* really dark chocolate

* cantaloupe!

Ice cream! :(

I'm a SUPER strict clean eater and have been for nearly two years, but there are still some foods that I tend to have a hard time with. Luckilly they aren't exactly "junk food", so I don't have much to worry about. ;)

It always stick to my portion sizes at home, but at restaurants...

  • Build-your-own stir-fries at places like BD's Mongolian BBQ. I add some of this, some of that. A little extra chicken here, and OH! What's that? I want to add some tofu and peanuts too! Maybe a little more rice wouldn't hurt either...
  • Salad bars; especially at Whole Foods. That place can be dangerous for the waistline and the WALLET! It's sooo good though and everything is usually very fresh. Portion control is once again, key.
  • Nuts. I can't "estimate" an ounce for the life of me. Well, only in the case of almonds, which are about 24 per ounce serving. All others leave me guessing... and weighing.
  • Pasta. A "serving" can't be THAT small right?
  • Meat at restaurants. If I order it, I tend to eat the whole portion given. Of course, I only order chicken or fish, but I still end up feeling stuffed to the brim afterwards and I know I would have never eaten so much had I prepared it myself at home.
