I Can't lose Weight!!!!!!

I know this sounds weird but I honestly think that I can not lose weight. I have been exercising for 7 weeks straight. I am able to run about 2 miles none stop "something I was never able to do like a couple of weeks ago". I have been living a healthy lifestyle, cut of fast food, high fat foods, portioning my meals, and been just active but................I have lost maybe 1 pound so far. I even have a written journal of what I have been doing. I have not lost any inches eigther. I am a female, 5'4'' and 198 lbs. I am really solid and have a lot of muscle but I have a lot of unwanted fat also. I eat veggies, I eat fruit, eat fiber filled foods, not a lot of sugar, drink enough water, and workout about 6 days a week. I am thinking about giving up but I am in the Military and I have to pass work out requirements every 6 months. I just want to get to a heathy weight so what do I need to do to lose at least 10 lbs. I will be satified with that. I mean what is it that I am doing wrong? Any comments will be highly appreciated. Thank you.

You don't mention how many calories a day you are eating. Have you  filled out the info that gives you a recommended calorie limit each day to reach your goal? The usual reason for lack of weight loss is that you are not eating enough calories and you are in starvation mode. Another reason if you are not using the food log is that you are eating more calories than you actually realize.

Do you log your calories?

Could be that you just dont eat enough and your body has sorta stalled on metabolizing your body fat.  After 7 weeks you should have lost some weight, although it is still a relatively short time period.  You may just have to wait it out for a few more weeks.  Be patient. 

DO NOT RESTICT YOUR CALORIES too much.  It is very likely that an increase will help you.
I am eating at least 1200 calories daily. I normally consume anywhere from 1400 to 1700. i log them in and I log in my activities. I have about a 500 to 700 calorie deficit. It has been seven weeks, and honestly I am seriously giving up. It is too depressing. Gook luck to all

I am right there with you. I have been exercising and doing everything right and the scale wont budge. I have been eating about 1250 to 1350 calories. I even tried going up in calories and I gained weight. So I went back down in calories and nothing happened. I exercise religiously and always have - tried switching up workout and nothing.

Its beyond depressing. I dont know what to do. I even tried eating no carbs and nothing. Not one ounce.
